Solar Thermal heating systems use heat from the sun to produce hot water for your home or business. A conventional boiler or immersion heater can be used to make the water hotter or to provide hot water when solar energy is unavailable.

The benefits of Solar Thermal is hot water throughout the year, this system works all year round, though you will need to heat the water further with a boiler or immersion heater during the winter months.

I have a self-build property that was built 22 years ago. With the house came a complex underfloor heating system that has an unvented cylinder system. Our Mitsubishi Air Source Heat pump, which was nearing the end of its three year warranty, required servicing. I was concerned about a noise which occurred whenever the heat pump switched on or off. After speaking to Mitsubishi regarding approved servicing companies, I contacted McCartney Group. They responded very promptly with an initial visit, diagnosed the problem, which related to an incorrect installation and returned the following week to service the system and install the required additional plumbing. The work was carried out with maximum efficiency and the minimum of mess and I was happy with the quotation for the work. I would recommend McCartney Group without reservation for this type of work.
